A few words about charitable donations and sponsorship

The Stripey Hound, like most of the long dogs I have had around me before her, were rescues, and I have been a passionate supporter of rescue all my life.
I regularly am asked to donate work for auctions and charitable sales. This is great! But I do have some provisos:
I will check you out to make sure you are legitimate, and registered as a charity or not for profit organisation. 
I do expect you to at least have followed my work, either here or on my Instagram account, or better still, to be a customer. This is my living, and I can't support you if you can't support me. I believe this is a fair approach.
